There are various stages to the mid-planning of a wedding….From invitations, to hair & make up, to pulling together all the last minute details! F&F provide a helping hand at any step of the way.
The final weeks leading up to a wedding can be the most stressful and some brides may have a full time job or are not living in the area where they are getting married, and therefore do not have the luxury of time in leisurely pulling together all the detail that goes into the mid-stage planning of your dream wedding. Let F&F take on the stress & strain of co-ordinating or helping in a smaller scale way & take some of the stress away from you, or give you fresh, innovative ideas if you’ve hit the bridal brick wall.
You can choose from our ‘Optional Extras’ pre planning services or we do have some ‘All Inclusive Packages’, where we do some or all of the mid- planning & you can receive a discount for taking the package versus all the individual services prices.
This is an ideal service for brides getting married in their hometown, but now live elsewhere & are reliant on their mum or close friends to be your ‘eyes & ears’. Not only can this be stressful for both parties involved, but it can often cause friction in the closest of relationships! It might be that you need a 3rd party to intervene, a ‘mediator’, for the times where you don’t know how to say “actually mum, I was thinking more like…..” or before decisions have been made that you don’t like & don’t have the heart to tell them. F&F’s intervention can avoid the friction of differing opinions.
You may be concerned that it’s just too much work for them, or your mum may be too busy with her own career or other commitments. We can work with the bride & the mother of the bride to ensure the practical elements of the planning process goes as smoothly as if you were doing it all yourself….but without any stress, treading on eggshells, hurt feelings or worry that it isn’t quite right.

We all know that sometimes things can get too much or a supplier lets you down last minute through no fault of your own….these things happen! But with our large database of suppliers, we can help to find a solution for you. We aren’t miracle workers, but we are able to take some pressure off by doing the initial searches of availability & hopefully find a solution quickly. Or you may have left things too late thinking ‘I've got plenty of time to sort that….” only to realise that time is well & truly no longer on your side! F&F can help out where possible with any “HELP!!” situations & help you by taking away the stress of solving yourself & panicking.

The free consultation will help us to find out where you are at with your plans, and enable us to pull together a full briefing on all elements & we can take it from there…. This service takes the painful process that is organising your seating plan, out of your hands. You provide us with your guest list and tell us about any conflicting relationships and we will configure your table plan for you with a healthy mix of family and friends. We allow up to two changes to the formation, which allows us to ‘tweak’ it together if you are not completely satisfied with our initial suggestion.
Priced from £75.00*. (Don’t forget we can also create the table plan and stationary for you, using our stationer).
*Maximum 100 guests, for larger numbers, we add £5 per 10 guests
You may have already chosen the venue & booked the key elements, but you maybe need some inspiration for how you want the wedding reception to look or, need to source a venue dresser. If you haven’t already thought of a theme, F&F can be your creative sounding board. We can take a pipe dream idea or a ‘doodle’ brief & transform it into a practical reality by working with you & your tastes.
We can do as little or as much as you need, whether it be giving you some initial ideas, right through to setting up & clearing away. It is amazing what we can come up with after an hour’s free consultation. Just some time to get creative & cost up, we will then come back to you with some initial mood boards of ideas.

You may have already booked the main elements, and are only looking for a professional service to dress your venue. With our creative flair & strive for perfection, you can rest assured that with F&F you will get nothing less than 110% from a design & execution point of view. You may already have a design in mind that you want implementing, or you may need a hand coming up with a design based on your colour scheme, but either way, F&F can help.
We don’t outsource our chair covers or sashes, table mirrors or table vases, we have our own stocks, so again, we don’t add any hidden fees for these onto our prices. The only items we buy in are those such as table confetti or personalised items to give your wedding the wow factor, to make it unique to you.
After an initial consultation, we would present 3 top line ideas, and would only charge a fee if you wanted to pursue the ideas further, where we would present you with 3 storyboards of fully developed ideas & budgets.

So what does the above entail? F&F will ensure that you get the best possible look for you on your special day. Using a trained specialist from ‘Colour me Beautiful,’ we will make sure that you choose the correct shade of white or ivory to suit your complexion, to what colours will suit you with regards to the bridesmaids dresses & flower colours complimenting you! We will then make sure that you choose the correct dress shape to flatter you most & will be impartial with our recommendations. Making sure you have considered these 2 important elements can make the difference between you knowing rather than thinking you look gorgeous on your big day! You could make an evening of it by inviting your bridal party, your mother & mother in law & all having a consultation to make sure everyone will be happy that they will look their best on the wedding day.

We will have an initial consultation with you, to establish what key style you have in mind or to help with what dress shapes we think will flatter you most, and which shades will suit you. Then F&F will select the 3 best shops to suit your taste, favoured designer/style, body shape & budget, based on the consultation. We can then book appointments for you to try on, it may be better all in one day, or you may want to spread out the dressing up so you can make a clear cut decision…its entirely up to you. We will come with you, if you’d like a 2nd opinion, or you can leave that to the bridesmaids or your mum…your choice! Priced at £100 for 3 shops with visits…if you require us to attend more visits with you, an additional charge will apply, please call or e-mail for further info.
Perhaps one of THE most important elements to get right…your hair & make up. Depending on the hair style you require, or whether you want a professional to tell you what will look best, F&F will know the right person for the job. We will arrange a trial for you, and pre check that they are available on your wedding date. If you are happy, then we can book on your behalf.
With regards to make up, F&F are trained in bridal make up, so we will ensure that at your trial, we use the correct shades to suit your complexion & dress…..and ensure you are comfortable with the style & promise not have you looking like a drag queen with it too OTT to what you are used to! The beauty of having a trial is that you may learn all you need & decide to do the make up yourself on the big day…its up to you! .
A bridal hair & make up trial is £100, and on the day is £150…and bridal party hair & make up trials are £40 per person, per service, with on the day prices at £50 per person, per service. Please call or e-mail for further info.
If you want to look your absolute best on your big day, then we can help you to reach any weight goal. We can suggest a diet & exercise regime which will suit your lifestyle & current fitness levels, as well as having weekly weigh in’s to help attain that pre dress goal! It may be that you only need to lose a little bit & just need that extra bit of motivation to spur you on…..Or it may be that you want to go extreme & completely transform yourself for the big day, in which case we have professionals who will advise you on the safest & most realistic way. Either way we’ll ensure you look fabulous on your special day.

If you are a bride who cannot trust your other half to choose a nice matching suit or waistcoats to compliment your or your bridesmaids, then fear not, again we are here to help! We can attend any suit fittings to point the groom in the right direction based on what you have briefed us in on! We will also take his size & shape into consideration, i.e. tails vs. a normal suit etc to ensure he looks perfect on his big day too!
The free consultation will help us to find out what are your needs…and we charge a set fee of £50 for finding 3 suit hire shops, and arranging trying on appointments…if you need us to come & visit too as the brides eyes & ears, we will charge another fee of £50 for this, please call or e-mail for further info.
If you’re looking for that something a bit different, rather than a shuffle from side to side that’s not only uncomfortable to perform, but also to watch, then why not have a few dancing lessons to impress your friends & family. You may only need 2 or 3 lessons to learn the basics, or you may want to learn a full dance routine, either way F&F can help. Our trained professionals can come to your home, or you can use their bigger facilities…..so no-one need know about the surprise & will be a great memory on the day! If you have picked a venue, which isn’t local to where most guests live, then we can arrange transportation for the wedding party. It can work out more cost effective for guests to pay for a coach, than individual taxis, but it’s an option you could offer. F&F can pull together quotes & even confirm the numbers for you via the RSVPs on your invites…again it’s another tick on the to-do list!
Similarly, if guests live far away, we can arrange accommodation on their behalf, whether it be via a bulk booking if the venue has rooms (as we do have great discounts available) to simply finding a nearby hotel. Either way we can help!

Whether it be an initial recommendation of what holidays are in season at the time of your wedding, to providing you with a shortlist of the best hotels/resorts in your chosen destination, F&F are here to help. We can help with advising on good or bad points on resorts or certain hotels you have your eye on, or we can look for something completely different too! Let us get creative & find the perfect honeymoon to suit you.
